1,000 Books [PreK]

This program encourages families to read 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten.

Log the book each time you read it to your child. It doesn't matter how many times you read it!

Rubber Ducky Club: Pre-K Color Our World

This program is designed for kids age 0 to 4 to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Bead to Read 2025

This program is designed for kids age 5 to 11 to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Teen 2025 Color Our World

This program is designed for teens age 12 to 17 to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Adult Summer Reading Program: Color Our World 2025

This program is designed for adults age 18 & up to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

How does 1000 Books work?

· Register Online Here – Parents you can create an account first to easily monitor your children's activity.

· Track Your Reading – Log every book you read with your child here!

· Keep Reading! – Prepare your child for kindergarten by reaching 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten.

Put reading first, with 20 minutes a day spent reading to your children.
Make it fun and exciting. Be imaginative.

If you read just 1 book a day, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years, and 1,095 books in just three years!

It was good, it ended a bit abruptly. I feel like we were left with unanswered questions. It kept me reading though. There was a bit of mystery to it that kept me wanting to read.
